    Excellent trip with Rory!
Driver Rory was excellent, experienced, and knew all the curves and best stops on the road as he has been doing it for decades. The road can be a bit rough and winding, especially around the cliffs along the back side of the island. Made several stops at waterfalls, lookouts, and banana bread. Lunch was provided by a roadside stand with huli-huli chicken and Rory brought super-sweet pineapple.

A bit long, by the end we were ready to get off the van, but that’s the nature of the tour. Overall it was about 11 hours from when we left to when we made it back to Lahaina.

Still glad we decided not drive ourselves and got to experience way more than we could have on our own,.

    Leave the driving to Stardust!
Wonderful tour to Hana with our guide Rory. He was so knowledgeable, entertaining, and confident driving this rough road with its many twists and turns. We made many stops along the way to take pictures and enjoy the sights. The lunch of Huli Huli chicken was a nice change from the usual tour sandwiches. The pineapple Rory brought was sweet and delicious. You will learn a lot about Hawaii’s culture, history, and interesting facts along the way and we highly recommend taking this tour.

Amazing! also not for the weak
I took this tour and it far exceeded my expectations, Kay was extremely knowledgeable and very accommodating. He prepared freshly baked snacks in the morning, and professionally prepared a Maui Gold pineapple that was as advertised. I suggest skipping coffee and and limit your liquid intake as there are few bathrooms along the way, but if you’re comfortable being one with nature then this isn’t an issue.

Ride: nice spacious van, Kay would periodically check in on us to see if the inside temp was OK, road was rough and if you get carsick easily prepare accordingly, Kay is an experienced driver and it shows. He was full of knowledge and many tidbits of information throughout the whole trip

Food: Water, Juice, Fresh Fruit, Baked Goods were all provided and readily available to anyone that wanted any. The local eatery was delicious and very accommodating to our vegetarian travel buddy

Sights: can’t say enough about how beautiful the road to Hana was, we had plenty of stops and got so many beautiful pictures, from the waterfalls to the black sand beach it was visually stunning from beginning to end.

Overall: we were exhausted at the end but loved every minute, it was definitely a long drive but would highly recommend it to all our friends!

    Spectacular Tour and Guide
This trip was one of the best tours I have ever been on. Kay, our driver went above and beyond to make the tour interesting and informative. His vast knowledge of the island, and particularly the road to Hana was more than impressive. His expertise in driving also showed, as he discussed safety tips. He made every effort to make sure that we say EVERYTHING and had many photo opportunities. Our day started on a high note, when he spoiled us with professional baked goods. I would highly recommend this as a great way to see Maui. In closing, I can’t thank Kay enough. He left a lasting impression on us.

This was by far the best tour we have ever done! Tony, our guide on the road, was very informative, friendly, and took great pictures. Bruno, our pilot, made us feel safe so we could really enjoy the breathtaking views. Would definitely do again!

    Road to hana
Rebekah was our guide, although the bus was packed, we had fun. It was a long day, well worth it. Thankfully we decided to book a tour instead of driving it ourselves. Way too dangerous to drive for the first time for me ans my husbands taste. The food, stops and events were great. I got to do everything i wanted to do. Was upset we didnt get to stop at the seven pools. But buses arent allowed to stop there. Rebekah was knowledgeable and very friendly. Id do it again if we come back.

Large family private full road to Hana tour
We are so thankful Stardust had openings! We were a group of 28 from 7 mos to 77 years and enjoyed our 2 vehicle adventure! We were picked up at the resort, breakfast of various breads and juices, we could customize stops a bit so kids could swim multiple times ( in the waterfall & cliff jump) see the sea turtles coming in and sunbathing, black sand beaches & caves, fresh warm banana bread & Hawaiian ice, bouldering on lava formations at the peninsula and a large lunch ( local chicken, rice & veggies). And they took pics for us all along the way. @ 11 hours of family adventures. Lots of history and drinks & snacks along the way! Highly recommend!!
